Agreement
By using this site, submitting a form, or communicating with us by SMS, email, or phone you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.
Who we are
Prosper (operating as Prosper Shield, Prosper Energy, and Prosper Solar Energy) provides residential energy assessments, solar consulting, system restoration, ongoing monitoring, and related services across the United States.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and the legal owner or authorized decision-maker for the property you are inquiring about, or acting with their permission.
What you get
Submitting an inquiry triggers a follow-up from a Prosper representative or AI assistant. It does not create a contract for any installed work. Any project is governed by a separate signed agreement that spells out scope, price, and warranty.
Communication consent
When you submit a form with the SMS box checked you authorize Prosper to send marketing and transactional texts (including by autodialer or AI) and to call the phone number you provided about your inquiry. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (up to 15 messages/month).
Acceptable use
Do not submit information about anyone other than yourself without their consent. Do not use this site to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, or interfere with the site's operation.
Intellectual property
The site, brand marks, copy, and code are owned by Prosper or licensed to Prosper. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without written permission.
Third-party services
We use third-party scheduling, form, calling, and SMS providers. We are not responsible for those providers' service interruptions, data handling, or terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and any pre-contract conversations are provided "as is" without warranty. Prosper makes no guarantee of estimated savings, eligibility for any incentive, project timeline, or outcome until those terms are written into a signed project agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Prosper, its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any pre-contract communication. Total aggregate liability is limited to $100 or the amount you have paid Prosper in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Prosper for losses arising from your misuse of the site, breach of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts in Virginia, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
